Our Mission

Where Leaders Are Made and Built to Last.

District 226 exists to give every member a place to find their voice, a club to call home, and the tools to lead with confidence long after the meeting ends.

The District 226 Mission

We build strong, thriving clubs and give every member from first-time guest to seasoned leader a supportive place to sharpen their voice, grow their leadership, and gain the confidence to lead beyond the lectern.

That means new clubs launched where people need them, experienced mentors paired with new members, officer teams trained and supported all year, and a district office that measures its own success by how well every club in the region is doing not just the district as a whole.

This Year's Promise

What District 226 Is Building Toward

Our Program Quality, Club Growth, and Public Relations teams are working from one shared agenda this term. Here’s what we’re holding ourselves accountable to.

Charter new clubs across the region

Bring Toastmasters to more workplaces, campuses, and communities that don’t have a club nearby yet.

Train every club officer, fully and early

Give every incoming officer team the tools and confidence to lead their club from day one of the term.

Help every club reach Distinguished status

Support each club’s education and membership goals through the Distinguished Club Program, all year long.

Pair new members with mentors from day one

No one should have to figure Pathways, roles, or their first speech out alone.

Put District 226 in front of new audiences

Grow public awareness through community events, speech contests, and stronger local partnerships.
